    oh my goodness, Debbie…! your recent postings are magnificent… these portraits are stunning, and once again as with your landscapes, you always have the most unique take on color and light reflection, always unusual and always pleasing to me.     I am a friend of Harry Saxman — we used to shoot bats together in Latrobe, PA. This portrait has a tender and lively appeal. You might check out my portrait work on FB, STEPHEN DAHL. Or, even “friend” me. As one painter to another, I’ve never thought of painting a portrait with the eyes closed. Shows my lack of imagination! Keep up the good work, as Simon Legree said to Uncle Tom.
